Resurrection Sunday
Celebrating the Resurrection of Christ is the greatest day to celebrate all that He has given to us. On Easter Sunday we have a Sunrise Service at 6 am, and later in the day we have free raffles, games, prizes and egg hunts for the children. We freely give as Christ gave to us.

Vacation Bible School Children and Youth

Vacation Bible School Children & Youth
Every summer the Children spend one week with Senior Pastor Ruben Martinez and the Youth with Pastor Raymond Cano. They all are taught that Jesus loves them all while learning the Bible and having fun. As they learn they have the opportunity to win prizes. They have a water slide day, a McDonald's Day for the Children and Sizzler's Day for the Youth. Breakfast & lunch are provided each day. At the end of the week there is a graduation ceremony where the students again have the opportunity to win prizes and awards for learning, good behavior and perfect attendance. The entire program is free of charge.

Men's & Women's Softball Leagues
From the months of August through December it's Softball Season. The Men's League has 27+ teams and the Women's League has 10+ teams. They are formed by local churches, businesses and organizations. The teams play Mondays & Tuesdays at the local John Kelley and Ralph Limon fields. Before and after every game the teams pray. A safe, family atmosphere is what is promoted for both the players and spectators. Throughout the year there are Homerun Derbies and tournaments.

Family Fun Festival October 31^ST
Halloween is usually known for being evil and for bringing fear to peoples' lives; it has even been suggested to be a day of the devil. In fact, it is a day to remember the heroes of the faith. We believe that all days were created by God and for God's purpose. We seek to redeem & reclaim October 31st for Jesus. Our goal is to advance the kingdom of God, and to tell people that Jesus loves them. Our gates are open to thousands as we give bibles, bikes, stuffed animals, toys, hot dogs, popcorn, hamburgers, sodas, and hundreds of pounds of candy. There is a live drama, live music, and games. As with all our events, everything is FREE!

Thanksgiving Day Lunch
Everyone is welcome and invited. Every year our church provides a free turkey lunch from 11 am to 1pm. Youth and other church members walk around the community inviting neighbors, some of which are homeless and seek shelter nearby. As many as 450 people come from Thermal and the surrounding communities. Additionally, each year we give hundreds of turkeys to families in need. All this is done as we give thanks to God for all that He provides.

Christmas Toy Giveaway
Christmas day we celebrate the birth of Christ. The entire community is invited to join with us in this wonderful, miraculous celebration. At a time when gifts are being received all over the world we give to families who otherwise might not have gifts to receive. We give anywhere from 5,000 to 10,000 free toys to all who come. The toys include basketballs, volleyballs, dolls, bicycles, and much more. God gave us His son freely and we freely give!

Multiple Couple Grand Wedding Celebration
In October 2010 was our first ever 10 couple wedding. A Grand Wedding Celebration of family and friends included an inspiring wedding ceremony, delicious food, entertaining live music and jumper fun for the children.

God is God of family. God is LOVE. It is God's plan that every family be blessed. Every human being is created for a purpose and a destiny. To fulfill it we need God to be the center of our lives, our marriage and our family. All of the couples have made a decision to have God be the center of their marriage. Finances and other obstacles sometimes stop couples from taking their marriage vows. We are giving each couple an opportunity to have a blessed wedding celebration. Our goal is to reach them for Christ and encourage them to live for God first and be blessed.

Compassion & Food Ministry
This is a ministry of helps not only for our church but for people in need within our community and those passing through. We have had the opportunity to help people who run out of fuel, are in need of a doctor, need to go to a rehabilitation home or simply need food. We have given away transportation cars to families in need, boxes of food and more. There is always someone who needs us to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Compassion ministry volunteers donate their time and car or truck usage to pick up donations of food, clothing, furniture, cars, trucks, and any items donated. The food is packaged by volunteers and given out after every service, and also delivered to the homes of the elderly and the disabled. All donations go directly to the people. God is good in that He has blessed families with vehicles and furniture, too, but there are always more people in need.

Ladies Retreat
As women of God, it is important to be aware of the spiritual battles in life and be equipped with God's Word. Putting God first is the key and setting aside a weekend for God is a great blessing of encouragement, revival and strengthening. This retreat benefits the entire family as women are the wives and mothers in their homes. Retreats are filled with morning, afternoon & evening prayer, morning and evening bible study, worship and deliverance. Most women come seeking from God and they use this opportunity to devote an entire weekend to have a fresh encounter with God. They return to their homes refreshed, renewed, recommitted and ready to fight the spiritual battles they are faced with.

Men's Retreat
As Men of God it is important to be aware of the spiritual battles in life and be equipped with God's Word. Putting God first is the key and setting aside a weekend for God is a great blessing, encouragement, reviver and strengthener. This retreat benefits the entire family because men are also spiritual leaders in their families, as they are the husbands and fathers and they need to be filled with Holy Spirit continually. These retreats are filled with morning, afternoon & evening prayer, morning and evening bible study, worship and deliverance. Most men come seeking from God and through this opportunity they rededicate themselves and return to their homes refreshed, renewed and ready to fight the spiritual battles they are faced with.

Couples Dinner
Around the time of Valentine's Day the church hosts a dinner for couples. The formal dinner is provided at a minimal cost. This event is to encourage couples to show each other God's love, to love one another as Christ has loved us and to make time for each other because God's word says that God comes first then our marriage. Many times due to a busy life schedule or lack of finances, couples do not make time for their wife or husband, so an event like this reminds us to make that time and to enjoy it. So that all may attend, couples who are short on finances are given the opportunity to fundraise to pay for their Dinner. The evening is filled with personal testimonies of encouraging marriage victories, teachings of practical applications of the Word of God and a special time to cherish one another.
