Ministries

In the compassion ministry there are volunteers who donate their time and car or truck usage to pick up donations of food, clothing, furniture and cars or trucks.

The food is packaged by volunteers and given out after every service it is also taken to the homes of seniors and disabled. All donations go directly to the people. God is good in that He has blessed families with vehicles and furniture too, but there are always more people in need.

We have a Men's League which has 27+ teams and a Women's League with 10+ teams from all over the valley. Teams are formed by local churches, businesses and organization and they play at the local John Kelley and Limon fields.

Before and after every game the teams pray and a healthy and family atmosphere is what is promoted for both the players and spectators. Throughout the year there are Homerun Derbies and tournaments.

Volleyball
From 9:30 pm to 12:30 am. After service many gather to play Volleyball at the Church campus in Thermal. It's a great time for fun, fellowship and celebrating God's goodness.

Each Service there are classes for children ages 1-3 in the LOVE room, 4-7 in the JOY room and 8-11 in the PEACE room. There are more than 30 volunteers who rotate and work with the children.

Friday Nights for children ages 8+ there is the "Chosen Ministry" which is a fun night with the opportunity to earn points by doing good unto others and learning the Word of God. At the end of each month those with the most points are rewarded with a special dinner night or fun event. This is all to show that God blesses them when they obey God's Word.

In the summer we have a weeklong Vacation Bible School where again the children are taught the Word of God, they are rewarded and Graduate at the end of the week.

We also organize community events and festivals for October 31st, Christmas and Resurrection Sunday. We give toys, bikes and other items to bless the children of the community.

They have bible studies, prayer, games, and field trips. The focus is to let the Youth know that God loves them, they are special, God wants the BEST for them, and it is possible to live the Christian life and have joy. "I can do everything through him who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13

Every year they have fundraisers to raise funds to attend a Youth conference where young people gather, learn about the Word of God and dedicate their lives to Christ.
